The Fort Myers Skatium offers affordable, professional ice skating lessons to skaters of all ages.  Learn to skate classes are ongoing Tuesday evenings at 6:00pm and Saturday mornings at 9:30am (ice skating).  Each session consists of six (6) half-hour classes (1 per week for 6 weeks), skate rental during the class, 30 minutes of practice ice and four (4) free public session passes.  Classes are offered for all abilities and ages 2 through adult and will be pro-rated depending on the time of registration.

Learn to play hockey classes are also offered at the rink but is not part of this program.  For more information on learn to play hockey contact the front desk at 239-321-7509.  Skaters need a helmet, gloves and stick, as well as, basic skating skills including the ability to skate forward, and backwards, stop, and skate on one foot in order to participate.  Skaters typically move into learn to play hockey after finishing beta.  Learn to skate classes can be completed in hockey skates for those skaters wanting to eventually move into hockey although it is not recommended for really young skaters or skaters who are just starting out.
